Clinical Supervision.
"Supervision is not just about oversight; it's about fostering growth, inspiring confidence, and guiding others to realize their full potential."
Supervision.
I provide board-approved Clinical Supervision for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates (LCMHCAs) and ongoing supervisory consultation for fully licensed counselor professionals in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina.
My Supervision Approach:
I enjoy working with and teaching clinicians, no matter what age. Teaching is my true passion and I am able to combine that with my therapeutic approach. My desire is to help you feel confident in helping others and feeling secure in the therapy room with your clients. There is nothing more exciting than being able to be a safe place for clients and new clinicians. I am deeply committed to offering high-quality clinical supervision, dedicated to fostering the growth and development of clinicians at all levels. My goal is to help them become skilled and talented professionals, empowering them to make a greater impact in supporting and helping others.
My approach to supervision is grounded in helping you learn therapeutic techniques and growing and expanding into your niche and while feeling empowered and supported. My role is to first assess your unique strengths and areas for growth in key categories. Throughout the supervision process, we will focus on developing those areas as needed. Counseling is an incredibly powerful tool that helps people work toward and achieve the life satisfaction they seek. I’ve witnessed its transformative impact on my own life and the lives of many others, and I feel privileged and grateful to be part of this process.
As a supervisor, my role is to ensure that ethical and high-quality counselors enter the profession. I tailor my approach to each supervisee, working closely with them to achieve this goal. Together, we cultivate a trusting and supportive supervision relationship where it feels safe to learn and grow.
Sessions will be structured and intentional, with a focus on:
specific clinical skills
counseling theory & approaches
your own self-awareness & personal growth
client welfare
tailoring treatment methods to client needs
your professional/administrative counselor task
